Day 1


Upon arrival at Calicut, meet assistance by our representative followed by transfer to Wayanad. It a nice drive uphill on the winding roads of famous ThamarasseryChuram to reach Wayanad. Situated on the Western Ghats with altitudes ranging from 700 to 2100 Meters above mean sea level, Wayand is one of the most popular tourist destination in South India. Upon reaching Wayanad, check in to hotel. (Overnight at hotel in Waynad)

Day 2


Breakfast at residing hotel and then on proceed for sightseeing tour visiting places of interest such as, Banasurasagar Dam – the largest earthen dam in India. Pookot Lake – a beautiful natural fresh water lake.Soochippara waterfalls – also known as Sentinel water falls, is one of the largest water falls of this area. Later in the evening visit “Muthanga wild life sanctuary” – one of the most famous wild life sanctuaries of Kerala. A jeep drive arranged by forest department takes you to visit this famous sanctuary. The park houses one of the most elephant populations of this region. The park is rich with its fauna and flora and comes under Project Elephant. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc are found in the park. In totality, it’s a typical south indian semi evergreen forests. Post visits return to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Wayanad)

Day 3


Check out from hotel after breakfast and drive to Coorg – known as the Scotland of South India. Enroute visit ‘Edakkal Caves’ - a cleft about 96ft long and 22ft wide in the rock that contains interesting carvings which represent human and animal figures and objects of human use and symbols. These carvings speak of a highly-civilized people of pre-historic age. Post visit continue to reach Coorg and check in to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Coorg/Madkkeri).

Day 4


After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Coorg visiting places of interest such “Dubbare Elephant Camp” – where in Elephants are trained. The Naturalist here explains the various aspects of Elephant history, ecology and biology. The visitor can observe and learn many interesting facts about Elephants & also participate few activities involving Elephants. The “Abbey Falls” – with its picturesque view is one of the amazing tourist attractions in the Coorg. The “Raja’s seat” - is a seasonal garden of flowers and fountains. The “Omkareshwara temple” - dedicated to God Shiva, is yet another attraction in here and is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The “Madikkeri Fort & Museum” – is a historical landmark of Coorg. Constructed late in the 17th century it is a unique as it houses a temple, a church, a prison and a museum. Post visits return to hotel of stay. (Overnight at hotel in Coorg).

Day 5


Breakfast at residing hotel. Early check out and drive to the palace city of Mysore. Enroute, visit the “NamdrolingMonastryBylakuppe” – one of the largest teaching center of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. [visit at monastery subject to permission]. Continue to Mysore and on reaching here, visit the Famous “Palace of Mysore” - Built in 1912 in the Indo Saracenic style. Onward visit to the “Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery” housed in the Jaganmohan palace that has a collection of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. You will continue the tour visiting Bull temple (a 4.8mts monolith) on the way to Chamundi hill temple and then to visit the “Chamumdi Temple” on the hill at a height of 1062mts. A view on Mysore city from the hill top is breath taking. Later in the evening visit to the Mysore boast beautiful Brindavan Garden. (Overnight at hotel in Mysore)

Day 6


Check out after breakfast and drive to Bangalore. Enroute visit “Tippu Summer Palace” at Srirengapatnam. On reaching Bangalore, proceed for sightseeing visiting – VidhanaSoudha the land mark of Bangalore (drive pass) built entirely from Bangalore granite in the Dravidian style. Continue with visit to LalBagh Garden and Tippu Summer palace - this palace was first a mud-brick defense built by Kempegowda in 1537. Proceed to visit the Bull temple -one of the oldest temple in Bangalore. Later free time for Shopping in Bangalore city. (Overnight at Hotel in Bangalore).

Day 7


Breakfast at residing hotel. Check out from hotel (as per hotel checkout time) and the tour ends today with a departure transfer to Bangalore airport/railway station for your return journey.
