Itineraries

Day 1

Cochin

On arrival at Cochin Airport / railway station, you will be met and greeted by our Guests Relation executive and you will be transferred to the hotel. After you refresh, if time permits, you can explore the heritage city including St. Francis Church – oldest European-built church. Here you can witness the tombstone of Vasco da Gama as he was buried here for 14 years, then you can see Chinese fishing nets - which is the oldest style of fishing. This fishing net is one of the main attractions of Cochin. After that you can visit Mattancherry Palace (closed on Every Friday) – here you can see the best collection of Mural paintings & unique collections of palanquin, ornaments, coins & stamp. After exploring the palace, you can visit Jewish Synagogue – it is a worship place of Jewish. Apart from that you can also witness the attractive Antique elements and architecture here (closed on Friday and Saturday), overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 2

Cochin To Periyar

After breakfast proceed towards Periyar, an exotic land blessed with verdant forests and spice plantation. This lovely land with lush flora and fauna is a perfect place for adventurous safaris, tiger trails and trekking. You can feel the oneness of Mother Nature at Periyar. Enroute you can also visit Rubber Plantation. On arrival at Periyar, check in at hotel and relax, later in the evening you can visit Spice market, overnight stay at Periyar.

Day 3

Periyar

You can enjoy the entire day by choosing the optional activities at Periyar like boat ride at Periyar Wildlife sanctuary – where you can get a chance to see Elephants, birds, Sambar deer, Bison etc and another interesting activity available for you is spice plantation wherein you can see the cultivation of Cardamom, pepper etc. You also have an option for trekking here. Overnight stay at Periyar.

Day 4

Periyar To Kumarakom

After breakfast proceed towards Kumarakom which is the charming backwater village that gives amazing look of Vembanad lake. You will experience a different world all together with the lake, houseboats floating among the coconut trees, and glimpse of the local life at Kumarakom. Bird sanctuary here is a safe-haven to millions of lovely birds and other species. Your days here will definitely be enriching. Enroute you can see plantations. On arrival at Kumarakom, check in at resort and relax, you can enjoy the optional Ayurvedic massage, overnight stay at resort in Kumarakom

Day 5

Kumarakom

This morning you can visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you have a chance to see different variety of migratory birds and you have an option to explore the village by walk during which you can see local people, their day to day life activity and their homes & you can spend rest of the day by enjoying the nature, overnight stay at Kumarakom.

Day 6

Kumarakom To Alleppey

After breakfast proceed towards Alleppey which is a beautiful backwater destination. Designated as the Venice of the East, Alleppey, also called as Alappuzha, remains as the major center for backwater trips with a large network of lakes, lagoons and several freshwater river connections. Afternoon embark at the houseboat and sail around Alleppey, during your cruise you can witness small temples, paddy field, day to day activities of local people (who lives on the banks of the river) like washing clothes and cleaning vessels on lake side, afternoon delicious Keralian food will be provided for lunch, later in the evening houseboat will stop cruise and will be anchored till next day morning, after dinner, you can relax at the peaceful destination, overnight stay at houseboat.

Day 7

Alleppey To Cochin

After breakfast disembark from the houseboat and will proceed to Cochin, if time permit you can spend some time for shopping at M.G. Road, later you will be transferred to Airport / railway station for your onward journey with your sweet memories...
